Everyone Enjoys Monsoon, but along with the monsoon breeze comes unwelcomed frizz and hair fall which pretty sure nobody enjoys, But not to worry We have just the hack you need. Rich in the goodness of Castor Oil, Coconut oil, Yoghurt, Honey, and Aloe Vera gel.
Step 1 : Oiling:-
Add 1 tbsp of Castor oil and 2 tbsp of Coconut oil and mix them well. Apply the oil mix to the scalp and massage thoroughly and leave it on for an hour.
castor oil is the best oil to enrich your scalp. It contains ricinoleic acid and omega-6 fatty acids and therefore when massaged onto the scalp it helps in increasing the blood circulation which improves hair growth. Castor oil is also an anti-hair fall agent.
Coconut oil promotes the scalp health fighting against such problems as insect bites, lice, and dandruff. Coconut oil moisturizes dry hair. Coconut oil adds luster, shine, and softness to the hair. Coconut oil prevents hair breakage and split ends, contributing to hair length.
Step 2: Steam:-
As soon as you read Steam you must have questioned how are you going to steam at home? Well here’s the answer – Boil some water and soak a clean towel in it. Strain the excess water from the towel and wrap it around your head – Feels like Spa at home in real! Leave the towel on for about 10-15 mins.
Hair steaming is beneficial as the heat aids in hydrating dry hair leaving your parched tresses happy. The moist heat also encourages blood flow to circulate, promoting hair growth too! The steam lifts the hair cuticle allowing your treatments to penetrate deeply into the hair shaft helping to heal damaged hair.
After the about time shampoo your hair once, it’s not important to take all the oil off your hair.
Step 3:- Masking:-
In a bowl, add 1 spoon of Honey, Coconut oil, Aleo Vera gel, Yoghurt, and mix the mixture well; when the mixture is ready add 4 spoons of Mayonnaise and mix until creamy.
Honey has both emollient and humectant properties, making it a great hair moisturizer. Emollients smooth the hair follicles, adding shine to dull hair. Humectants bond with water molecules, adding moisture to dry strands. By moisturizing and locking in shine, honey can help restore the natural luster of your hair.
Aloe vera contains something called proteolytic enzymes that repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff, and conditions your hair.
Yogurt produced with Propionibacterium can help enhance the number of these bacteria in your scalp. This, in turn, can help reduce dandruff. It helps calm frizz by keeping your hair moisturized for longer. Yogurt contains probiotic bacteria that increase hair density.
Mayonnaise is loaded with protein, vitamin, and fatty acids that help in keeping your locks softer, smoother, and shinier. The fatty acids present in mayonnaise help in providing intense moisturization to the hair strands, making them smoother and softer. The protein and vitamins in the mayonnaise make hair super shiny.
Now after leaving the hair mask on for about an hour on your hair, get it off with the help of a mild shampoo. Keep in mind to wash your hair with cold or lukewarm water, washing hair with hot water promotes hair dryness. Let your hair dry and see the magic of a relaxing hair spa day for yourself!
